Digital Video Group, Inc. installed a HD Television Studio for County of Henrico channel HCTV 17. DVG performed the design build for this complete HD upgrade. The system included a Snell Kahuna HD Production Switcher, Snell Sirius router, Chyron MicroX charter generator, Harris Predator multiviewer and test and measurement equipment, Ikegami studio cameras, and an Allen & Heath audio console.
DVG also designed and installed the complete post production environment that included an Avid ISIS 5000 SAN system and Avid Media Composer editors. A Harmonic Carbon Coder work station was installed to allow format conversion between the SAN and on-air playback server.
