DVG partnered with WROC-TV in Rochester, NY on the studio technologies for their new set. DVG provided two 3×3 monitor walls based on Phillips 46″ Ultra Narrow Bezel displays. To get the most of the new set and to improve the overall on air image DVG added Hitachi SK-HD1300 HDR Studio Cameras. The SK-HD1300 is Hitachi’s top-of-the-line progressive scan HD Studio and EFP camera. Outstanding images are acquired by three 2/3” 2.3 megapixel progressive scan MOS imagers. Hitachi’s implementation of the most advanced digital processing technology provides low-noise and high dynamic range pictures. The cameras were outfitted with Fujinon lenses to insure high quality images.
