DVG was tapped by Longwood University in Farmville Virginia to design and build there new state of the art HD Studio. The system consisted of a Ross Carbonite production switcher, router, and Xpression graphics in the control room. Hitachi Z-HD6000 HDR studio cameras on Miller pedestals with CueScript prompters were used in the studio. A Yamaha QL1 digital audio console was used for audio mixing with a Sennheiser wireless system for talent. Studio and control room communications and IFB were provided by Clear-Com.
A shared area editorial environment was installed utilizing an Avid 64TB SAN system. Asset management was provided by CatDV for enterprise and web clients. Project archive was achieved using StorageDNA to insure redundancy.
