HD Studio & Control Room

DVG recently completed a studio design build project for the Virginia General Assembly. The system utilizes three Sony HXCFB75 HD Studio cameras with Fujinon lenses on Miller support. The cameras are connected via SMPTE fiber to CCU’s located in the control room. Switching and graphics are performed by a Ross Graphite production switcher. Routing of signals is accomplished with a Ross Ultrix multi-format router. AJA, Ross, and Ensemble Designs terminal gear was used and Imagine Communications test and measurement equipment was used to insure video and audio integrity. Sony displays were used for video monitoring and Planar displays were used for GUI displays.

AJA KiPro Digital File Recorders were used for program and ISO feed recording. Live streaming of the program feed is provided by an AJA HELO encoder. A Yamaha TF3 console was used for audio mixing and Dante IO was added for remote use. Studio and control room communication is performed with a Clear Com intercom system.
