DVG recently completed the design build of a production truck for WCVE- Community Idea Station in Richmond, Virginia. The production truck was built on a 170″ wheelbase Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.
The remote production van includes Grass Valley LDK80 Cameras with both triax and SMPTE fiber XCU’s with Fujinon Lenses. A Ross Video Carbonite Black 2 M/E production switcher was installed along with a Ross Xpression Dual Channel graphics system and a Ross NK Router all controlled via Ross Dashboard.
For replay Newtek 4 camera capture 3 Play system was included as well as AJA KiPro units for ISO and program recording. Audio mixing is performed with a Yamaha QL1 audio console and included Dante and AES options. Clear Com was chosen for the IFB and intercom system for camera and talent communication.
To insure high production quality Sony and TV Logic monitors were used for reference and an Imagine Communications CMN-41 onscreen monitor was used for test and measurement. For live production an ImmediaTV H.264 IP Encoder was added for content delivery.
