DVG completed the design and installation of a state-of-the-art production control room for First Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. The system centers on a Ross Carbonite Ultra Engine production switcher, with graphics powered by an Xpression Character Generator and clip player. A Ross Ultrix Router handles seamless routing, while program encoding and delivery to the local TV station are managed by a TVU TE5500 MLink. Sony PTZ cameras, installed in the chapel, are remotely controlled from the new control room.
For editorial workflows, the setup includes Avid Media Composer systems connected to a Facilis HUB SAN, enabling efficient media sharing across multiple editors.
