Summary:
The Broadcast/Network Engineer shall integrate solutions for corporate, educational, gaming, sports, and broadcast clients. This position will work closely with the Project Manager to perform tasks as directed to complete integrations on projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to manufacturer specifications including Shared area Storage, Network Switches, Non Linear Editing and Streaming Systems
- Mount equipment in racks.
- Interface with Engineering and Sales team on the presales design process
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Support and manage installation of software on workstations, laptops, storage onsite and at remote locations after sale.
- Basic inhouse IT support
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Network Plus, Cisco)
- Up to 50% travel may be required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Familiar with video editing and production solutions from Apple, Adobe, Avid, Newtek etc. considered a plus

- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of IP, video, audio, and control connectors and cabling
- Ability to terminate multiple styles of connections (BNC, RJ45, multi pin connectors, etc)
- Ability to read schematic drawings

Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent. Two year technical degree in low voltage electronics and/or networking or related work experience preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
