HD Editorial and SAN

Digital Video Group, Inc. recently designed and installed a Shared Editing Environment for GMMB in Washington, DC. The system was based on four  Avid MC Nitris DX editing systems connected via fiber to a 64TB Avid Unity SAN. Back up was provided by a LTO drive and scan conversion was acomplished with an Ensemble Designs MITTO. Panasonic plasma displays and Sony production monitors were used through out the install.
